Tokyo, Jul. 4, 2018 – Trigence Semiconductor Inc., the revolutionary digital audio IC and solution provider, today introduced the latest full digital driver IC, DN3013, for high-resolution audio, suitable for USB powered headsets, wireless speakers,  sound bars and headphones for personal computers.

 

With its newly developed "Virtual Coil®" technology, the DN3013, dynamically compatible with the DN30x2 series used in many audio devices, now offers a dynamic range of 114 dB, a low voltage power supply of 1.8 V and a power consumption of only 483 mW. The maximum output power is 12.5 W. In addition, special GUI software running on a Windows PC can easily operate a variety of  DSP functions.

Tokyo, Jun. 19, 2018– Trigence Semiconductor Inc.(株式会社Trigence Semiconductor) was selected as one of the J-Startup business by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry(METI) of Japan.

The J-Startup program announced on June 11, 2018, organized for the first time by the METI of Japan, aims to support companies that can gain global competitiveness in Japanese startups and provide new value to the world through innovative technologies and business models. J-Startup will support selected public and private sector businesses, create a successful model, and further strengthen Japan's venture capital ecosystem. Of the 10,000 startups reviewed, 92 startups were selected to participate in the program.

Tokyo, Apr. 11, 2018–  Trigence, a leading supplier of Digital Speakers to the PC and handheld consumer markets has closed its Series C financing, which was led by MIYAKO Capital with participation from existing investors including Intel Capital.

 

This brings the pioneers of direct digital drive speakers’ total funding to over $20 million, and will help Trigence accelerate further adoption of its Digital Speaker Modules as the leader in audio fidelity for portable devices.

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9, 2018– CES 2018 – Trigence Semiconductor Inc. today announced the launch of its fourth Dnote® Digital-to-Digital (D/D) based audio solution (AT1962) jointly developed with Audio-Technica.  Audio-Technica will also be simultaneously announce the release of their latest Bluetooth Headphone ─the ATH-DSR5BT* based on Trigence Semiconductor’s market-leading and proprietary Dnote® multi-bit, audio processing technology.   Following the earlier release of Audio Technica’s award winning and highly acclaimed ATH-DSR9BT & ATH-DSR7BT headphone models, the ATH-DSR5BT represents Audio-Technica’s 4th D/D model , Dnote®-based solution.  The ATH-DSR5BT incorporates built-in Virtual Coil® signal processing to extend the dynamic range and improve audio performance, in addition to employing the latest Dnote® D/D converter IC** (the AT1962). Due to its superior resolution, the AT1962 enable the ATDSR5-BT to reproduce astonishingly clear sound.

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9, 2018– CES 2018 – Following the availability announcement of the world’s first Dnote® USB Sound Bar– the Aquos Audio AN-SA1 by SHARP CORPORATION in Japan, Trigence Semiconductor Inc. today showcased the Fully-Digital Dnote®-based USB Sound Bar during CES 2018.  The SHARP Aquos Audio AN-SA1 is a Fully-Digital sound bar capable of delivering a superior TV entertainment experience without the need for an external A/C converter or power supply.  Utilizing only the TV’s built-in USB connection, the high quality audio broadcast of TV sound is made simple and fast.  SHARP’s Aquos Audio AN-SA1 employs Trigence Semicondutor’s DN3052, Dnote® Fully-Digital audio amplifier, based on Trigence’s , and incorporates Trigence’s proprietary Peak Power Assist circuitry.

COMPUTEX, Taipei, Taiwan May 31st, 2017– Trigence Semiconductor, a pioneering audio IC design and solution provider, today launched the world’s first Audio IC Module (ICM) based on TDK’s advanced SESUB (Semiconductor Embedded SUBstrate) packaging technology at the Grand Hyatt Hotel (Taipei, Taiwan).  By employing TDK’s SESUB process, Trigence has been able to deliver a fully integrated, all-in-one audio output solution for incorporation into Digital Speaker Modules.  The ICM significantly reduces footprint requirements for and audio output stage, allowing it to be combined directly onto the electro-mechanics of consumer micro-speakers turning the speaker into an independent digital component, or Digital Speaker.  The benefits of Digital Speakers include improved audio quality, simplified system design, and reductions in active power consumption.

Headphones that digitally transmit the sound source for a full digital sound. Using a system that utilizes only digital signal processing, problems related to sound deterioration and distortion have been resolved, enabling the reliable reproduction of original sound. By connecting the ear pads and headphones at a curve, they fit ears firmly and can be worn around the head, achieving a balance of functionality and design. A flat diaphragm that conforms to the slanting of the ears, as well as the ear pads with an ear-fitting shape were independently developed.

Tokyo, February 12, 2014 – Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (“INCJ”) announced today its decision to invest in Trigence Semiconductor K.K. (“Trigence”), a company engaged in the manufacture and sale of semiconductors that implement unique digital-processing technology that makes fully digital speakers possible. The investment will provide Trigence with a maximum of ¥480 million in growth capital required to further accelerate business development.Existing shareholder Intel Capital (Intel’s investment division) will also invest.
