Trigence Names Nat Smith as Director of Product Management and Marketing

 

 

 

JERSEY CITY, NJ  and OTTAWA, Ontario – October 15, 2007 – Trigence, a leader in virtualization at the application level, today announced the addition of Nat Smith as Director of Product Management and Marketing. Smith will lead product innovation, development and marketing of Trigence’s application virtualization solutions. Smith brings over a decade of experience in product management to Trigence, with a consistent track record in strategic marketing, planning and messaging at several forward-thinking technology companies.

Prior to joining Trigence, Smith was the Director of Product Marketing with Expand, where he positioned the company in the coveted Leaders quadrant of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant.  Prior to Expand, Smith was a Senior Product Manager at Network Physics where he successfully led the development team and customized product launches for application infrastructure solutions.  Smith has also held key management positions at Packeteer, Palm and AT&T Labs. 

Smith is a board member of the Product Development & Management Association (PDMA) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.
