Greg O’Connor, CEO

Greg'O Connor is President and Chief Executive Officer of Trigence, a leading supplier of application virtualization infrastructure. O’Connor has over 25 years of management and technical experience in the computer industry. He was Founder and President of Sonic Software acquired in 2005 by Progress Software (PRGS). There he grew the company from concept to over $40 million in revenue. At Sonic, O’Connor evangelized and created the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) product category, which is generally accepted today as the foundation for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Greg earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science at Purdue University.

Donn Rochette, Co-Founder and CTO

Donn has over 22 years of industry experience, most recently pioneering work that combined Linux and microkernel technology for OnCore Systems. Prior to OnCore, Donn was Chief Architect for Microtec where he was integral to creating a chain of products that were deployed in missile guidance systems, airborne flight systems, telecom platforms, cell phones, and the Hubble Space Telescope. Donn spent 10 years at NASA's Kennedy Space Center working on the design and development of launch support systems, a continuing critical piece in the success of every space shuttle launch. Donn has an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Electronics from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Southeastern University.

Walter R. MacDonald, CFO

Walter brings to Trigence more than 12 years experience in the technology sector, where he has held senior executive positions in the areas of finance and operations. Prior to joining Trigence, Walter held the position of CFO for Trillium Photonics and before that Vice President Finance and Information Services for Cognos Inc., a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence software. Walter has also served as CFO of Gandalf Technologies Inc., a publicly-held developer of networking equipment. Walter is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo.

Janet Strackhouse, VP, Sales

Janet brings deep experience in the application management and virtualization market to her role as VP of Sales. Before joining Trigence, Janet was responsible for North American Sales at Softricity where she was instrumental in the early formation and growth of the sales organization resulting in the successful acquisition of Softricity by Microsoft. Prior to joining Softricity, Janet was part of the initial team responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the Enterprise Sales organization at Citrix in 1999. Before Citrix, Janet founded and was President of Communications Research, Inc., developer of the first virtual teleconferencing system which was later purchased by PictureTel Corporation. Prior to forming Communications Research, Janet was with Novell, where again she was part of the initial team responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the Enterprise Sales organization. Janet holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Economics from the Pennsylvania State University.

Donna Grare, VP, Engineering

Donna brings more than 26 years of experience in the technology sector to, holding senior executive positions in Product Development, Engineering Management & Consulting Services. Prior to joining Trigence, Donna was a managing principal at Internosis (acquired by EMC), an application technology firm that acquired Stratis Group, which Donna co-founded and built into an award winning company. Before that, Donna was the Managing Director of Engineering at Dell/Plural. Earlier in her career, Donna held various executive, engineering, and management positions at Fujitsu & AT&T.
