Senior Systems Engineer, U.S.
Professional Skills:
- Build technical and personal rapport with clients and then assist them to deliver on their needs.
- Coordinate and complete all POC activities with the customer.
- Provide technical Pre-Sales Support to Trigence Sales by formulating strategies, & delivering technical presentations and demos.
- Research, compose and deliver responses to RFP's.
- Write technical whitepapers that describe our solution and its use cases.
- Become a main point of contact to prospects/end users as it relates to the technical proposal and implementation of the Trigence solution.
- Gather, document, and maintain customer information within the sales and contact management systems.
- Assist the sales team as it relates to regular reporting into management on the status of customer accounts and activities.
Technical Skills:
- Linux/UNIX OS: administrator-level skills on Linux/UNIX (Red Hat/SLES/SLED/Solaris)
- Linux/Unix Applications: Knowledge to install/configure (certifications preferred):
- Databases (Oracle, Sybase, DB2),
- Application Servers (Java, BEA Weblogic, JBoss, Apache, Tomcat)
- LDAP Server (SUN Java Directory Server, NDS)
- Scripting: Knowledge of UNIX Shell Scripting
- Network: Practical experience with the Solaris/Linux/ (Red Hat/SUSE) network and security models.
- Windows OS: administrator-level skills on Windows NT, XP, 2000, 2003 and Vista
- Windows Applications (MCSE preferred)
- Databases (SQL 6.5, 7, 2000, 2003, 2005)
- Administrative/Network (AD, PDC, WINS, SMS)
- Internet (IIS, Exchange, MTS, Sharepoint)
- Windows Scripting: Knowledge of MS-DOS, ASP, Jscript, VBscript
