Inside Sales Represenative, Jersey City, NJ

Trigence is looking for smart, talented, energetic Inside Sales Representatives to assist their growing sales organization and to support their Field and Channel sales activities.

The Inside Sales Representative must be a highly motivated professional team player who is willing to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment to help Trigence grow exponentially.

This position will report to the Inside Sales Manager and it will have a primary responsibility for generating and qualifying a pipeline of new prospects for Trigence sales teams throughout the US.

Responsibilities:

Research and profile targeted companies to identify key contacts, uncover opportunities, and funnel this market intelligence to field sales reps to help them drive business in their territories
Outbound calling to database prospects, prospective customer lists, and conduct call campaigns in support of Trigence seminars and other marketing activities
Excellent and professional follow-up on leads from website, advertising, and trade shows
Prepare quotes and help facilitate closing additional business from accounts
Knowledge of CRM Systems (Salesforce.com a plus), maintain, and update records in CRM system
Ability to identify and document prospect's needs, expectations, and priorities in order to pass lead off to field sales rep effectively

Requirements:

Strong written and verbal skills a must – a writing sample is required
Ability to grasp complex technology solutions and maintain an understanding of the Trigence marketplace, including competitors
2-4 years of Sales Experience
Knowledge of or familiarity with other virtualization concepts/solutions a plus
Sales Training or Solution Selling Training a plus
Degree from 4-year college with proven academic success in Computer Science, Business, or Liberal Arts
