Senior Software Developer
Trigence is seeking a Senior Software Developer to work with a highly skilled and motivated team to design, develop and maintain core product components. You will work on all aspects of the design from customer requirements and architecture through to implementation and testing. You will have a hands-on role in translating product concepts directly into market winning solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8+ years experience in developing and delivering software products.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
Requirements:
This position offers a challenging design and development role. The qualified candidate will develop application components for Solaris, Linux and Windows environments. This includes core technology for capsule creation and application encapsulation. Specific requirements include:
- Knowledge of Unix application programming is a must.
- Knowledge of kernel development is considered an asset
- Significant development experience with C and C++.
- Experience with GNU Linux and Unix development environments.
- Knowledge of Windows application programming and experience with Windows development environments including Visual Studio and MSDN is desired.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent debugging, analysis and code development skills.
- Team player with excellent inter-personal and communication skills; able to influence at multiple organization levels.
Responsibilities:
- Design architecturally sound software that fully meets design specifications.
- Perform sufficient unit and system testing to ensure delivery of quality software.
- Optimize code for performance in enterprise operating environments.
- Maintain proper documentation and use software development methodologies to ensure that products are developed to the highest standards.
- Translate concepts into preliminary design approaches and follow through to complete implementation.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve product releases with respect to quality, ease of use and time to market.
